Women In Trucking Association's Accelerate! Conference & Expo
Founded in 2007, the Women In Trucking Association (WIT) mission is to encourage the employment of women in the industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize obstacles they face working in the industry. In 2014, WIT saw an opportunity to engage members, prospects and key stakeholders in this mission by bringing them together in an industry-wide conference. But they didn't know how to go about it.
WIT turned to MindShare Strategies to conduct a sophisticated research initiative to determine the interest in such an event. Through several focus groups, phone interviews, and online surveys and polls, MindShare determined the demand for such an event was there - and we helped WIT launch its first annual conference called Accelerate! Fast forward 10 years later, MindShare has helped WIT evolve the event into one of the largest in North American transportation and logistics. Today, MindShare is fully responsible for event strategy, content (identifying hot topics and recruiting speakers and panelists), sales of exhibitors and sponsors, orchestrating a unique Truck and Technology Tour, generating attendee registrations, planning and executing all facilitated networking events and receptions, and so much more. Through our expertise, we have grown this event that attracts nearly 1,800 attendees and features 150+ exhibitors and sponsors.

Building a Community for TMSA
The Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA) was founded in 1924 to primarily serve communications and advertising professionals in the rail industry.
Fast forward decades later, and TMSA turned to MindShare Strategies to evolve the association to include representation of all modes (motor carriers, 3PLs, brokers, rail/intermodal, ocean, air cargo, technology innovators, etc.) and to significantly expand its value proposition.
Through the strategic direction and support of MindShare Strategies, TMSA today is 400+ members strong, hosts multiple in-person and virtual events every year, provides unique data for its members (i.e., the annual TMSA Marketing & Sales Metrics Study), and publishes invaluable information on its website, such as best practices and case studies in marketing, branding and sales.
